A crow was envious of a flock of white pigeons enjoying delicious food given by their host in the bird shed.
He decided to disguise himself as a white pigeon and join them in their meal. He used some white paint to make his feather white. Then he went inside the bird shed quietly.
As he ate quietly, none of the pigeons realised that he was not one of them. However, after a while, he felt so proud of his cleverness that he started to talk to the other pigeons. From the moment he opened his mouth to speak, everyone knew that he was a crow.
The pigeons immediatly started to attack him. The crow managed to escape, and he returned to his flock. However he looked so odd that the other crow chased him away.
The crow that had wanted to look like a white pigeon was now also rejected by his own kind.
